Beyond Blue and Rexel Australia Partnership
We are very proud to announce that Rexel Australia has partnered with Beyond Blue to raise awareness of anxiety, depression and suicide prevention. We will be working together to empower our broader Rexel community to improve their mental health and wellbeing.
Rexel will be supporting the “Beyond Blue Support Service” throughout the partnership. This service gives every person in Australia the opportunity to talk through their concerns with a trained mental health professional. People who access the service receive a one on one counselling session to address an immediate concern, as well as receive information and advice on continuing to seek support. Last year, Beyond Blue supported over 250,000 people via phone, web chat and email through the service.
In addition to the Support Service, Beyond Blue has an array of Workplace Mental Health resources:
Two thirds of small business owners say the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic have negatively affected their mental health. Beyond Blue also recently announced the Commonwealth has committed $4.26 million toward rolling out their new initiative NewAccess for Small Business Service which will provide mental health coaching services to small business owners. We will provide more detail on this as the launch draws nearer.
